Turn RIGHT out of Magnus driveway

Turn RIGHT on Market Street
*Sunnyside Street (Mile 1)
*There is a significant hill around 1.5 miles
*Market and State Street Stoplight (Mile 2)

Turn LEFT on State Street
*Cross over State and Kent intersection (Mile 3)
*Continue straight on State until Middlebranch sign (Mile 4)
*Cross over Middlebranch and railroad tracks
*Pass Fromes Road
*Pass Marlboro Township Limit sign (Mile 5)
*Pass sign shaped like dog for the Dog Grooming Place (Mile 5.5)
*Pass Werner Church Road (Mile 6.0 approx)
*A bit past St. Peter's Church Road (Mile 6.5)

You'll see a LARGE ORANGE CONSTRUCTION CONE that reads:
"Nice Job! Turn Around!!"

Try a Smile!

You've quickly learned distance running is more about mind power and less about physical capabilities. We are continuing to increase our miles. So, we need to keep our bodies healthy and our minds even stronger!

I tried the "smiling" technique when I was training for the marathon. I know this sounds hokey, but it truly works. I don't know if it's endorphins, a mind game, or just a load of poo.

Try it!

When you are running and feel dead tired. Start SMILING. It makes you forget you're struggling. It makes you think you're having fun. I SMILE all the time when I'm running. Now, I'm not always enjoying myself. However, you'd never know it.


So, give it a whirl this Saturday. I expect to see SMILES!!!!
