Route Details
We are getting spooky this Saturday and portions of our route will NOT have turn-by-turn directions. We will begin our run in a cemetary, run through some familiar roads of Hartville, enter into Quail Hollow park, run some "spooky" paved trails (you won't need trail shoes). The trail will end and you'll be on Pontius Road, which is around mile 6. You'll turn RIGHT out of the "haunted" woods and continue running on Pontius road until your goblin feet are tired. You turn around when your costume starts to itch or when you get caught by the vampires that lurk in Hartville. YES, I'm telling you to run until you feel like stopping! We are running for FUN today! We don't have a required distance. We will return to our structured turn-by-turn routes next week.
Route
Turn LEFT out of the North Plaza parking lot onto RT 43
Go directly across the street and run the entire loop of the CEMETARY
- If you make it out alive......exit the cemetary!
Turn LEFT back onto RT 43
- Lake School Baseball Fields (0.5 miles)
Turn RIGHT on Andrews
- Hartville Mini Storage (1.5 miles)
Turn LEFT on Erie (2 miles)
- Follow Erie to the right until you end on Prospect Street
Turn LEFT on Prospect
- Cheviot Court (2.5 miles)
- Run pass Congress Lake
Turn RIGHT and enter Quail Hollow (3.2 miles)
- Go straight in the park
- Do NOT turn at any parking lot
- Continue straight towards the White "Haunted"House (4.5 miles)
- Run directly in front of the white house
- Run towards the dumpster and hang a RIGHT
- You'll see the entrance to Spruce Grove Trail area
- I'll place an arrow by the trail you are supposed to take
- Run the trail until it ends on Pontius Road (about 6 miles)
Turn around or keep running until your ghostly heart is content!
