The hills train your body, but his route is going to train you MIND! The route this week is flat and takes a not so scenic view of Hartville and State Street. This route will be very familiar to any Trinity Trotter that trained for the Cleveland Marathon in 2009. Basically, the route is boring.

Route Details
This is a 20 mile out-and-back.  I wanted to do a loop, but we would have to go long stretches without water.  This works because you'll be surprised on race day with some awesome scenary and fun cheering!  YES, you are doing the Sand Run and Garmin Avenue hills.  You'll get to go down-hill your first 10 miles and then you'll take the long hike back up Sand Run!  You've run State Street and you are well-prepared!!!  You can run any distance of this course.  However, you are required to run out-and-backs!  All transportation vehicles are doing water and fuel stations.  You WILL not get a ride back to the start location (unless injured).  Bring flashlights...it will be dark!

Aid Stations
We will have aid stations at miles 1.5, 4, 6.5, 9, 11, 13.5, 16, 18.5, 20!  The aid stations are stationary.  We have designated sections along the route where Connie Bradley, Lynne Schapiro, Sharon Simers, and Larry Simers will be parked.  You run up to the car, get your water/fuel, and keep going.  Again, they will NOT be driving up and down the route.  You need to pay attention to the designated aid station areas.

Aid Station Volunteers
I'll have very detailed directions on how to find your aid stations and I'll give you the supplies when we meet at the parking deck.
