Tour De Hartville Route for Saturday, May 29th (Newbie and Distance Route)

Promptly at 6:30 a.m.

Details
We are going to merge the newbie Trotters and distance Trotters this week.  We want you to meet and mingle with your fellow and future running/walking buddies.  Hope Magnus will lead the newbie group this week.  The newbie Trotters will run by minutes and the distance Trotters will run by miles.  If you are a distance Trotter....feel free to run the entire 10 mile route or just a portion.  You are still in "recovery" mode from the Cleveland Marathon.  We will start bumping up those miles very soon in preperation for the Akron and/or Columbus half or full marathons.  If you area a newbie Trotter and can already run 3 miles, Hope Magnus will give you details on running with the distance group for your mileage this week. 


Roue Summary
We are running and walking the sidewalks of Hartville.  Make sure you stay on the sidewalks.  When the sidewalk ends ALWAYS run facing the traffic.  Do NOT run with the cars at your back. 

Route
Exit parking lot and walk towards sidewalk by McDonalds

Turn RIGHT on 619 by McDonalds (stay on sidewalk)

  • Stadium Street (0.5 miles)
Turn RIGHT on Prospect (by Hartville Chocolate Factory)
  • Lincoln Street (1 Mile)
  • Seneca (1.5 Miles)
  • Hazel (2 Miles)
  • Smith Kramer (2.5 Miles)
  • Royer (3 Miles)
Turn RIGHT on Lake O Pines (3.7 Miles)
  • HUGE house on right (4 Miles)
  • Smithdale (4.5 Miles
Turn RIGHT on Market Street
  • Sunview Circle (5 Miles)
  • REVERSE route for 10 miles
