The Olympic Ring Route for 2-27-10 (NEW TIME)

NEW TIME!!!!
Yep, we are starting earlier.
The longer the miles the earlier we start!

(This is right before the stop light at Kent and Smith Kramer)

Route Detail
This is a 14 mile loop through Hartville.  You've seen portions of this route before, but some portions are totally new.  You'll have some hills, but MUCH less than the past two weeks.  BEWARE-The route for the 10 and 15 miler is KILLER!!!!!!  If you are running the Shamrock 15K on Sunday, March 7th you won't need to attend the 10 mile run on Saturday, March 6th.  The race will serve as your long run.  We will still have a group run because Hope Magnus has to run anyway, darn it!

Turn LEFT out of Maple Grove parking lot

Turn LEFT on Kent Road
  • Tonawanda (1 Mile)
  • Jefferson (1.5 Miles)
  • Continue straight past Hartville Chocolate
Turn RIGHT on 619/Maple Street (2 Miles)
  • Kinsley (2.5 Miles)
  • William Penn (3 Miles)
  • Duquette (3.5 Miles)
  • Zeller's and Sons sign (4 Miles)
  • Sable Creek Golf Course (4.5 Miles)
  • Byers Road (5 Miles)
Turn RIGHT on 44/Ravenna Road (6 Miles)
  • Center Road (Almost 7 Miles)
  • Straight on Ravenna Road
Turn RIGHT on Nimishillen (Almost 8 Miles)
  • Straight on Nimishillen
  • Do NOT turn on Byers!!!
  • Fenbrook (9 Miles)
  • Emmel (9.5 Miles)
  • Miller Road (10 Miles)
  • Wolf Road (11 Miles)
  • Hunting Hills (11.5 Miles)
  • Nimishillen Church of the Brethren (12 Miles) 
  • Continue straight on Nimishillen until Kent Road
Turn RIGHT on Kent Road (12.7 Miles)
  • Royer Road (13 Miles)
  • Solid Rock Church (13.5 Miles)
Turn LEFT on Smith Kramer
  • Run to Gieb Road sign and then walk back to Maple Grove (14 Miles)
  • Congratulations!!!!
